destination for vacations and celebrations. Our estate lies in the heart of the coffee district, a secluded tropical retreat with lush borders for plenty of privacy!
Just 15 minutes south of Kailua-Kona and east of Kealakekua Bay (Captain Cook’s monument and City of Refuge), the cool mountain mornings and mild evenings make for the perfect home-base as you visit Big Island!
The peaceful ambience of the estate’s gardens, fruit trees, and swaying palms invite multiple families to enjoy each other’s company and still find space to spread out amidst spacious rooms and ample outdoor living space.
Our property boasts an abundance of tropical fruits including avocados, oranges, tangelos, lemon, lychee, guava, banana, papaya, jaboticaba, and more. The whole orchard is yours to enjoy! Our lovely flock of chicken provide farm fresh eggs to the local co-op and our Sharwil avocados are sold across the islands and currently the only Hawaiian avocado certified for exporting to the Mainland.
HALE OHANA has 6 rooms (including 3 ocean view suites) and 4 baths, comfortably sleeping 12 adults (and a few additional keiki if needed). Our rooms are beautifully designed to offer guests a getaway when traveling with extended family and friends. We do not cram our rooms with multiple beds as to provide our guests with private sleeping spaces.
Pocket doors open the entire home to a beautiful stone patio complete with an infinite pool and hot tub. Outdoor BBQ, seating, and tiki torches offer the perfect place to enjoy the tropical sun and colorful sunsets! The gourmet kitchen has room for cooks of all levels and ample space for entertaining large gatherings.
